About Gokce Evi

Gokce Evi is a light-filled and airy house renovated to a high standard, while keeping its
original charm. One enters into a large tiled kitchen, which leads through an arch to a sitting room and dining room with large windows to the panoramic view.

French windows open onto a spacious and shady verandah overlooking the wooded valley and far-off hills.

The two twin bedrooms, with original fireplaces, have their own doors leading onto the
verandah. The modern bathroom opens off the sitting room. There is also a small, unfurnished room, the original kitchen.

Gokce Evi is very peaceful and relaxing. The call to prayer from the nearby mosque adds to the ambience of this friendly village. The forests provide beautiful, shaded walks, including down to the Dip Dag hotel on the shores of Lake Sulungur for a welcome drink or meal.

• Delicious meals can be provided by our hospitable neighbours, Ramazan and Inema.
• Gokce Evi has a welcome shady terrace but to respect local tradition, sunbathing in
  beach wear is best kept for the beach.
• Car hire is recommended and can be arranged
